WHO WE ARE
We are licensed WILDLIFE REHABILITATORS who have joined together to create A PLACE CALLED HOPE, Inc.  for injured, orphaned, sick or non-releasable Birds of Prey.

We are made up entirely of trained volunteers who devote their time and talents to helping to get these magnificent birds back into the sky!

Sometimes release is not an option for a bird who has suffered certain types of injuries that make it impossible for them to survive on their own in the wild.

We hold special permits obtained by the state of Connecticut and by US Fish and Wildlfie Services that allow us to keep and care for these birds provided we share them with the public through Educational Programs.

That is the FUN part!  It is not everyday that a person gets to have an up close and personal encounter with a live Bird of Prey!  Our Programs offer information on each species of Raptor and a segment on how you can help to protect them in the environment.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which means we are run entirely on donations of time and money.  This labor of LOVE fills our hearts with passion for these incredible Raptors!  We are honored to work so closely with each and every one of them!  Learn more under the Wildlife Rehabiltation tab.
